1. Location Data
- What we collect: Your device's approximate and precise location (latitude and longitude)
- When we collect it: Only while you are actively using the app (foreground only)

- To show you nearby products and sellers in your area
- To calculate and display distances to sellers
- To provide location-based search results
- Important: We do NOT track your location in the background. Location is only accessed when the app is open and being used.
- Your control: You can deny location permission at any time in your device settings. The app will still work but distance-based features will be disabled.
2. Phone Number
- What we collect: Your mobile phone number
- Why we collect it: For account authentication and verification via WhatsApp OTP
- How it's used: Only for login verification; we don't share it with third parties for marketing
3. Camera and Photos
- What we access: Your device camera and photo gallery
- Why we access it: To allow sellers to take and upload product photos
- Your control: You can deny camera/photo access; you won't be able to upload product images without it
4. Profile Information
- What we collect: Name, store name (for sellers), store address, profile picture (optional)
- Why we collect it: To create your user profile and enable marketplace functionality
5. Product Listings
- What we collect: Product photos, descriptions, prices, and categories
- Why we collect it: To display your products to potential buyers

App Tracking Transparency (ATT) Clarification
Local Legend does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
We do not use user data for advertising, retargeting, or cross-platform tracking.
As our app does not perform tracking as defined by Apple, App Tracking Transparency permission is not required.
